It is OK. There are small screws you need to undo before you insert the belt into the buckle and a clasp with teeth as extra security when you first connect the belt and buckle. The problem I had was I undid one of the screws too far and it took me a long time to re-insert the screw. The tool that was supplied really didn't work well with the patterned screw head. Also, the teeth on the clasp did not dig into the belt material, so the clasp remains semi-open.

Love this belt. Extremely unique, never seen anything like it. Very sharp blade. And feels like a regular belt. Sometimes I forget I'm carrying a knife! lol

I just ordered the compact survival belt and obviously haven't received it yet, but I know without a doubt I will love it.
I ordered my first survival belt in January 2017 and I have literally worn the same belt, not a replacement strap or buckle, the exact same belt every daily since. It still looks great, barely any wear and I am really amazed. I've thought about buying another one just to have one on hand.
Much to my surprise they have the compact one out now.
I cannot wait to get it in hand.
My only wish is that I could have bought an additional strap. I have an additional brown/tan strap that I purchased with my last one, I've never used it, but I know it is there when I need it.
Those reading this, buy this belt, it may indeed be the last belt you need to buy.

SSlideBelts2 weeks agoWe're glad to hear you like it! Unfortunately it cannot be worn through metal detectors or pass TSA in any way, they will most likely confiscate it due to the blade.
It's highly recommended to store it on your Check-In luggage.
