Here are my thoughts of slidebelts after several years and perhaps half dozen belts. overall great product albeit not perfect. like the fit, fashion, durability, quality materials and build, good customer service.
Downsides are that the belt notches did wear down slightly over time so that the 'click' is not quite as loud and secure as Day 1. Also the matt painted buckle (for me) easily got scratched by our waist-high kitchen counter edges. The company's customer service was good in that they sent me a 'factory second' replacement matt painted buckle. But now I've moved more toward their burnished buckles, which seem more resistant to scratching or scratches won't be as noticeable.
And I have their newest "light" buckle which seems nice reduction in weight. Overall would recommend.

The buckle is a replacement for an old one that quit working. Customer service person was very helpful and resolved the issue and suggested a replacement buckle that was upgraded to work correctly. The new buckle works without problems and I can now keep my pants up
