Awesome gift. Very happy. How do I get the fire starter/ flashlight off the belt without using pliers? Two of us are stumped. Tried watching your videos but they’re not helpful.
SSlideBelts3 minutes agoThank you for the review and feedback Aileen! You can usually pull and twist to remove the flashlight, but if it's gets pushed in too far unintentionally it can get stuck. You can pull back the metal tab to help remove it and then push the tab back in to prevent it from going too far in.

Bought the survival belt and the box say it has a flashlight and firestarter but got the one with only the knife inside. Could have been someone switched and sent it back but quality control should have caught it and not sent this one to me. Also I can't figure out how to close the knife without cutting my finger off.
SSlideBelts24 minutes agoThank you for the feedback! It looks like you received the wrong box but the belt and buckle is correct, the Compact version that you ordered does not come with the flashlight and firestarter. Only the Pro version is advertised with that addition!

This thing is awesome! Quality materials, sturdy craftsmanship. Easily the best feeling/fitting belt I've ever owned. The ratcheting is SO much nicer than a pin in holes. Hopefully I'm never stranded in the woods, but if I am, I'll still b able to cut stuff, light my path, open bottles, and build a fire.
