My original belt was excellent. After several years the belt needed to be replaced and I bought the lower grade belt replacement which wasn't good so I bought the upgrade leather version (which matched the original) and it' great. No issue with the buckles - consistently high quality and durable.

Genuine leather is a lot more durable and versatile and longer lasting than the cheaper vegan/artificial leather that is used on some of the lower end products offered on this website. I like Slidebelts in general, but if you're going to get a belt from them, spend the extra money and go with real leather.
