Free slurpees between 11 am - 7 pm!

For those who might not know, today 7-Eleven offers one small free slurpee to all their customers in honor of their birthday...awesome right?!  This year, 7-Eleven celebrates its 88th birthday...🤔 I wonder if they're going to do anything different for their 100th birthday. 

Anyways, did you ladies and gents know that today isn't the only day 7-Eleven offers free slurpees?! That's right, there is one other day free slurpees are offered...November 7th!! Unfortunately, it comes with a catch. You would have to catch a flight to Australia to receive your free slurpee, as 7-Eleven offers the free item on this day due to Australia's date format, date followed by month vs our version of month first then date. 

Here's another interesting insight, although 7-Eleven now operates 24/7, its name actually derived from its original 7am-11pm hours of operation. And California has more 7-Eleven stores than any other state. The closest one to us is on Auburn Rd in Folsom, which is about 11 miles away...which is too far if you ask me!

So I encourage you all to join the celebration and enjoy a nice, cool, and refreshing slurpee. Just make sure to take it easy on the slurpee(s), you don't want to end up like Bart Simpson...or do you?
