Cold Season

Well I’m sad to say it but the cold season is here and is in full swing. I know a few of us here at SlideBelts have been battling it so I thought I’d share a few tips on how to avoid getting sick this cold season. 1. Seems obvious but avoid contact with people with a cold, especially during the first 2-3 days that symptoms appear. 2. Frequently wash your hands, so maybe keep the high fives to a minimum if you’re not feeling so well. 3. Keep your fingers away from your eyes and nose to avoid spreading germs. It seems like a simple thing to do, but a single gram of bacteria can contain 1 trillion germs. 4. Get your flu shot. I actually don’t do this myself but hey, it’s worth a shot. (pun intended) 5. Support your immune system! Drinking plenty of fluids and eat a balanced diet to maintain your health. Tip: Get the Orange C Booster from Jamba Juice if you’re looking for a yummy treat filled with vitamins to prevent catching that cold. I got one last week when I felt my cold coming on and it was amazing! Hope this helps!
