I bought my first Slidebelts a couple years ago (I saw them on Men's Healt). They are high quality, versatile and very durable. Since then I build a small collection of belts and buckles, and I'm not planning to go back to "traditional" belts at all. My two sons now are building their collections of Slidebelts as well. (And NO, I'm not getting any money from above mentioned companies to advertise their products, simply a happy customer.) Happy new 2025!

I was looking to get away from "genuine leather" as that is the poorest quality material. I am impressed with the leather and belt buckle. I am not sure on the longevity of the plastic catch that the buckle clicks into but that will take years of use. I'd like to see a metal option in the future if possible.
As to fit, there is a huge difference in comfort right off the start as my old belt I was in between the notches. Too loose my pants felt like they were going to fall down and too tight my back would act up. If you have lower back issues and need a belt I'd recommend trying one of these out. I use it for work so I have a radio, knife pouch, keys and a phone attached, so there is more than a normal amount of weight being applied.

Fantastic product. Well made leather belt with amazing simplicity on the buckle. Saves on wear and tear on the typical belt- this these belts last 3 times longer than the normal! Seasonal weight fluctuation! Never a problem with the slide belt technology- function!

Have only had this belt a few weeks and the surface finish is already worn off at the side/bottom. At least it's not visible whilst wearing, other than that I've had no problems, and really like the watching mechanism. Perhaps I should have gotten another material for the belt but I would have thought this would be a little more durable.
