If you guys haven’t noticed recently, there a lot of new faces around here! In fact, we’re at an all-time high headcount right now at 35 employees. October of 2016, we were at a mere 25.
With every new Crusader we bring on board, it never ceases to amaze me what personalities are being added to the team. It’s always intriguing when someone new brings a fresh idea, perspective, or outlook on things that haven’t been represented here before. Not only that, it’s exciting to think what other great collaborations will come when adding new personalities to existing ones, and how the existing ones will grow and foster the new ones.
With the constant addition of new attitudes, demeanors, and outlooks, I am glad that the one common goal that brings all of these diversities together is to “Empower people through innovation with Simple, Subtle, Stylish, wearables.” While it may just be a phrase in our handbook, it’s absolutely awe-inspiring to see first hand the way it brings such diverse characters or natures together to work almost seamlessly with one another.
Just something I noticed recently (:
If you haven’t already visited a nearby pumpkin patch, I highly recommend you do so. They are a great source of entertainment that shouldn’t be missed during this time of year. And because we’re fortunate enough to live and work by a handful of them, finding an excuse for not visiting one is practically impossible.
One main thing to note about pumpkin patches is that they all vary in entertainment: some offer pony or horse rides while others offer hay or tractor rides, some have a corn maze while others have a hay maze, some have face painting activities while others have a petting zoo, some have haunted train rides while others have haunted barns, some have over 10 varieties of pumpkins to choose from while others have over 30 varieties etc., so if you’re looking for something specific, I recommend you do a bit of researching before attending. If not, and you just need to pass some time with family and/or friends, or simply need to shop for your Halloween pumpkin, any pumpkin patch will certainly do.
So, go on and visit a pumpkin patch and enjoy the fun that comes with the experience. Halloween is still plenty of weeks away, so start planning your pumpkin patch visit now.
*** Friday the 13th is only a couple of days away...might just be the perfect day to go.
Really try to unplug this weekend & have a great 3 day weekend!
