Childish & Nostalgic

This loop was really tough for me, I haven't read anything truly captivating lately, the shows I watch are embarrassing (my husband uses "trashy" to describe them), and I don't listen to podcasts. I'm lame and it's going to get even lamer... For this loop, I want to write about Whinnie the Pooh. I found myself flipping through it at the library recently for fun and I got smacked with childhood memories. My dad was a truck driver and working a lot, so growing up it was pretty much just my mom, sister and I and we all chose Whinnie the Pooh characters that we loved. My sister was Tigger because of how energetic and happy she is, I was Piglet since he was the baby (obviously also because of the anxiety LOL), and my mom was Eyore because she's so empathetic.
I feel like once we reach a certain age, our ability to be carefree and enjoy life changes. We're too stressed, we care about what people think, and we're scared to enjoy the little things. Being childish as an adult doesn't always have to be a bad thing. Go to the park, hang off money bars (it's so much harder now than when I was a kid) and go down slides. Don't be afraid to be a goofball and enjoy life.
Here are some of my absolute favorite Whinnie the Pooh quotes:
“It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn’t use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like, ‘What about lunch?’”
“If you live to be a hundred, I hope I live to be a hundred minus one day, so that I never have to live a day without you.”
“If people are upset because you’ve forgotten something, console them by letting them know you didn’t forget—you just weren’t remembering.”
“I always get to where I’m going by walking away from where I have been.”
