Today all the content in your average library can fit in the palm of your hand in some form of an audiobook. There's something to be said about the other senses that libraries enhance. The nostalgic smell of the books, the feel of the pages flipping maybe even ripping as as you eagerly get to the next page, and those little notes left behind and graffiti marked on the pages from past readers. But most of all I consider libraries some sort of sanctuary. They give me time to tune out the rest of the world while I focus on what's in front of me. If life ever gets a little too loud and you're sick of re-reading a section over and over again then check out the resources that are around you.
