Good morning team! 

I really enjoyed Jess' loop on Monday about breast cancer awareness month. Her loop made me want to write about the most important woman in my life, my mother. 

In October of 2017 my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had called me at work and told me and it was the scariest day of my life. She went through her mastectomy in mid October and it was a tough time for her and my family. We were all so frightened on what would happen because no family member that we saw on a regular basis had gotten breast cancer before. Thankfully she recovered from her surgery well and handled recovery like a warrior! #CancerFree

Fast forward a year later and she successfully went through her final surgery with a solid recovery!

I love you mom, shout out to you and all the other survivors out there!
