Tattoo and a Girl’s Best Friend Thu, Jan 23, 2020

So one of the things I was looking forward to in 2020 actually already happened...some new ink! I got a tattoo earlier this month and I had been looking forward to it for a while. I absolutely love reading, so the tattoo I got included some stacked books with the text “I’ve lived a thousand lives” because when I read, I feel like I’m in the story. It’s such a stress reliever for me and I’ve loved it since I was a kid. Also, on the top of the stack of books, I put the book from the movie Hocus Pocus because it’s one of my favorite movies and the spell book added a little something to it that I love :)

Other than my tattoo, I don’t really have any big plans for 2020 yet and it’s mainly because I have a special needs dog - my Chihuahua, Jack. He is my 10 year old fur baby and in August of 2018 he was diagnosed with heart disease. Then, this last September he started showing signs of heart failure. Although he’s still wagging his tail and begging for belly rubs, he’s in the last and later stages of his disease and most likely doesn’t have much longer left with me. So this year, I just look forward to taking a million cute dog pictures, getting tons of snuggle time, and spending every moment I can with my furry best friend!
