If you need an excuse to visit the coast then perhaps this will sway your decision..it's migration season! Specifically, a few species including gray whales, killer whales, and dolphins are making their 12,000 mile journey from their summer feeding grounds in the Bering Sea to their winter breeding grounds in Baja California and back again.
