Flying tips from someone who travels a lot ✈️ Wed, Feb 20, 2019
Last week, Kali provided some great tips on how to vacation on a budget. Not only was it convincing (I booked a Norwegian Air flight!), but it was also very informative. I think the world is sending me messages that I haven't taken a vacation in a while and need to because I found a great Twitter thread titled Flying tips from someone who travels a lot with advice for handling long flights. Whether you're a seasoned traveler or a novice jet-setter, these simple snippets of info might save you.
These were a few of my favorite tips:
- "Bring anti-bacterial wipes for the table"
- "Wear a jacket with zipper pockets (Columbia). Makes it extremely easy getting through security. Put all pocket items (wallet keys phone) and zip them shut. Easy to toss your computer in backpack throw on jacket and proceed on. Less stress repacking at gate."
- "Being patient, smiley & friendly go a long way."
